Everyone -
I hope you are all having a Merry Christmas Season and are looking forward to bringing in 2012!!
Here's a quick update about the June 2012 reunion here in Arizona: We have secured a block of rooms and a meeting room for our get-together on June 8-10. Rooms have been negotiated at $89/single, $99/double, and $109/suite at The Hampton Inn in Gilbert, AZ.
A hot breakfast is included in the room rate. We will need to pay for the meeting space, and that will be collected by a donation at the time of the reunion.
We're not limited on the number of rooms we need, so don't think it's too late to plan on attending - this is just to give you an idea of the cost of the hotel.
The Hampton Inn (link below) is a newer hotel and is located in the southeast area of the Valley (south of Mesa, southeast of Phoenix). It's close to San Tan Village (shopping) and also Interstate 202 which will provide easy access to all major freeways in the Phoenix area, various golf courses, casinos, shopping, museums, etc.

Hi Everyone -
Thanks for the great response for voting for the 2012 Eichhorst Reunion!
The #1 vote (10 families) for location was "Phoenix" and "June/summer" was the 1st choice for time of year. To avoid school schedules, Memorial Day, Father's Day, and the beginning of the AZ monsoon season (when it's really hot and humid), the best weekend is:
June 8-10, 2012

The Branson reunion schedule seemed to work well:
Friday, June 8 - arrivals (we will be having a get-together/dinner at our home)
Saturday, June 9 - breakfast / visiting / family activities - dinner will be a get-together with activities/entertainment (any volunteers?)
Sunday, June 10 - departures
The Eichhorst's from Arizona will be coordinating arrangements and we may be reaching out to others to ask for help. I'll send out more specific information (regarding hotels, activities in the area, etc.) later on.
We look forward to having you come to Arizona!!!
